Fairfax Body & Soul Festival September 26, 2009

The Fairfax Chamber of Commerce and Hannah Doress Events present The Fairfax Body & Soul Festival, a festival for the whole person, family and community, taking place on Saturday, September 26th in Fairfax's Peri Park (46 Park Street).

Check out acts including "one man folk fest" Walter Strauss, Scott Kalechstein (as seen with Deepak Chopra), Kate Wolf Fest faves Three At Last, and the Fairfax All-Stars (featuring members of Big Brother & the Holding Company & Tom Finch Group). The event begins with yoga taught by Sienna Smith and accompanied by Number 1 Ambient Album of the Year Winner (2006) Bodhi K. Setchko.

This health & wellness themed event will include free yoga, tai chi, kung fu & bollywood classes, an organic wine bar, delicious, organic food and tasty health beverages from Good Earth Natural Foods, culinary demos including ayurvedic, vegetarian etc., timely panels on children's health, environmental health, H1N1, etc., and fun activities for children, plus tastes, samples, screenings and more from top holistic providers and health and wellness businesses and more to be announced.
