When one hears the word “Faeries”….what feelings are conjured up? To six talented women, inspiration comes alive and offers many different art forms.

This Saturday, June 21, from 6:00 pm – Midnight….Experience a night of brilliant euphoric creations inspired by the feminine side.

This unique show, curated by Andie Villafañe will feature… Drawings, paintings, photographs, stained glass works, illuminated art, jewelry and poetry readings, all created by female artists.

Lana Penrose, conveys the essence of simplicity via gel contour drawings on black paper and her abstract paintings. Photographer, Hoda Mana brings warmth to your heart with her black & white and full color prints inspired by the magic of faeries. A glimpse of the serenity of nature and all that it entails, culminated by the creation and rebirth of life. Satya Heather Reyes creates glorious stained glass works. Her art is inspired by her own personal experiences. The Faerie theme continues to run through this show represented in these soulful images, a faerie under the moonlight, and a pregnant woman awaits her gift of life. Each piece is dramatic and inspiring.

Illuminated Art is brought to this eclectic exhibit by Andie Villafañe. Her provocative work with mixed media, LEDs and crystals has set her apart from the mainstream. Her vision and artistry with LEDs inspired her to create an astounding sculpture of a Lotus Flower, 5 large outer petals open to reveal the delicate inner petals adorned with an elaborate lighting system… materials include steel, metal rods, wire mesh, mesh fabric, gem stones and LEDs. There will also be interactive readings of Suzette Brantley’s Poetry, which can be read and admired on delicate, parchment paper. And finally, find your mojo, with jewelry by Bridget Baker, who custom designs each piece to aid in balancing one’s seven chakras’ and enhance the true gifts that each of us hold within ourselves.
