Recommended for youth ages 10 to 14, with an adult

This two-hour art class is designed so that youth can better understand an artwork by Marcel Duchamp on view in the exhibition “Inventing Marcel Duchamp: The Dynamics of Portraiture.” Registered participants will take a brief guided tour of the exhibition, focusing on a multi-media self portrait by Duchamp. Participants will then create artwork based on the main ideas of that artwork. Free and open to the public. Space is limited; call (202) 633-8501 to register. Please note: children must be accompanied by an adult.
