Director William Hennessey will discuss the Museum’s newest exhibition, 50 Years Later: The Lessons of Massive Resistance. Guest speaker Geraldine Talley Hobby, one of the “Norfolk 17,” will share her experiences as the lone 12-year-old African-American student who attended Northside Middle School after the schools reopened in 1959.
The class will be followed by a box lunch.
