Eye on the Storm: Long Island's Dangerous Coast October 23, 2008

Through artifacts, dramatic vignettes, and video oral histories, experience the storm and its aftermath. This exhibit also explores various shipwrecks that have occurred in Long Island waters. Objects collected from various wrecks as well as lighthouse and lifesaving memorabilia will be displayed and a video installation will show underwater sea dives of various Long Island shipwrecks.
