Expressions of Vienna April 19, 2009

Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele are two artists whose work is associated with the Viennese avant-garde during the early twentieth century. Their work bridges the important transition in Vienna from nineteenth century concerns and styles into the emerging Expressionism of the period following the First World War.
