Did you know that olive oil can be as complex as wine? The culinary and health benefits of olive oil depend on its quality and flavor properties. In Europe there are mandated quality standards, which ensure they receive both the health and culinary benefits of olive oil. Unfortunately, in the US, we have very limited federal standards and defective olive oil is the rule rather than the exception. In this workshop youll discover one of the secrets to phenomenal food and health: Good olive oil.
Iron Chef winner Neal Fraser of Grace Restaurant and the Eastern Center for Complementary Medicine are pleased to invite you to a special olive oil education and tasting workshop with Nancy Ash, taster for the California Olive Oil Council.

Health benefits of good quality olive oil
The renaissance of the California olive oil industry
