The afternoon program will feature a presentation hosted by six art professionals who will discuss the enlightened approach to Fine Art Collecting. This event is geared towards the new art collector, and all of us who are curious. Why should we collect, and what inspires us to collect? What makes artwork museum worthy? Also to be discussed will be topics such as the art scene in Los Angeles and where to find fine art, what are the advantages of purchasing art from galleries, non-profits or the artists studios. Once the purchase is made what are the next steps, appraising, how to keep proper records, and care for the art collection.

Following the presentation, the audience will be invited to engage in a dialogue with a question and answer session.
