Explore the Animal Kingdom at Westfield North County June 6, 2011

Westfield North County’s Westfield Family program presents The Magical Animal Kingdom for the month of June, featuring Westfield Family Fun Days designed to help kids learn about animals in the wild and in their own backyards. At these free, family-friendly activities, kids will play, create and learn about animals.
June 6 will feature story time with “Moose Tracks!” by Karma Wilson and Jack E. Davis, and “Bear Snores On” by Karma Wilson. Kids also will create tissue paper teddy bears to take home and enjoy a fun and healthy snack.
On June 20, the kids will create bagel bird feeders with the help of the San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum, and decorate easy-to-assemble bird houses. They also will be treated to story time with “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle and “The Lion and The Mouse” by Jerry Pinkney, and enjoy another healthy snack.
On both days, families will be sent home with Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt coupons.
