Designed for children of all ages, Exploration Stations offer a more personal, hands-on look at different components of our natural world with an emphasis on the native plants and animals of the Rolling Plains. Discover how opposums use their tails, or why fish do not float. Why is a butterfly not a moth, and just what are the differences between the two anyway? What do box turtles and trees have in common? (Hint: It's all in the rings!) Each Exploration is conducted by one of our trained, knowledgeable docents and designed by our education staff to entertain as well as enlighten.
