Experience Valley’s Best Food Trucks All in One Place at Vistancia Oct. 27 October 27, 2012

Vistancia’s Food Truck Experience is set for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 at the master planned community in Peoria.
The West Valley’s first food truck tour event is free and open to the public. Guests start the gourmet food truck experience at Vistancia’s Information Center, 12026 W. Lone Mountain Parkway in Peoria to receive a map of the food trucks located throughout the community’s new home neighborhoods by builders K. Hovnanian Homes, Meritage Homes, Rosewood Homes, Shea Homes, Taylor Morrison and T.W. Lewis by David Weekley Homes. Complimentary food samplings will be available from all food trucks during the event.
Guests can rediscover Vistancia and enjoy gourmet food trucks featuring Carte Blanche, Tom’s BBQ Pig Rig, Lunche Libre, Q UP BBQ, Hey Joe! Filipino Street Food, Spice It Up!, Island Loco, Pizza People, Mojo Bowl, Torched Goodness and Sweet Jonez Cupcakes.
Specialty food offerings will range from Chipotle mushroom and mozzarella quesadillas, smoked beef brisket sliders, pulled pork on coleslaw, bacon mac and cheese bites and ancho chile braised steak tacos to vanilla, sea salt caramel and chocolate crème brulee; mini cupcakes, strawberry banana, orange and pineapple mango smoothies; and vegetarian options.
Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia will feature tours of the club and menu tastings – comfort food meets Southwest -- from Executive Chef Randy Heltsley.
Mountain Vista Club tours in the Village at Vistancia and a preview of new custom homesites will also be offered during the event.
Vistancia is located in Peoria set amongst a stunning backdrop of mountain ranges featuring dramatic views of White Peak, Twin Buttes and the Bradshaw Mountains in pristine desert surroundings. A second community entrance and exit is now available,
providing both north and south access. Take Loop 303 to the new Lone Mountain
