Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program April 15, 2011

This six-week long course will cover the various food groups, food safety, the importance of reading labels and how to save money on food purchases. Participants will have fun while learning to prepare healthy meals for their family, including a chance to taste simple recipes in class. Those that complete the course will receive a certificate of completion from the University of Florida. Presented by the Orange County/University of Florida IFAS Extension Education Center.
