I would not ever miss a sale at Sweet Smiling! It's really more of a party with visual entertainment than a "sale" (except for the fact that they have incredible bargains).
Forget every preconception you ever had about "imports". This is like being invited to the home of someone in the arts who travelled extensively and brought back hand-picked treasures. And, like all excellent hosts, they serve great wine! The only problem is that you can't leave empty-handed; it's impossible. The temptations are too great.
Absolutely an off-the-beaten-path, in-crowd event.
