Existence - Paintings by Arpita Ghosal Kaher & Rajib Kaher (Kolkata). After success two-man show at Museum Art Gallery Artist Arpita Ghosal Kaher and Rajib Kaher are now in Pune. When Arpita uncovered the inner man then Rajib feared to a hungry hi-tech social. Arpita try to interpret a drastically change of human face where man and woman are trying to hide their mind, social pressure and frustration on their face cleverly. She tried to find the only hidden honest and humorous lines and colors under, artificial lines of faces. Sometime she changed her medium from acrylic to pencil to capture the truth and base of artificial lifeline. In the same time Rajib focused on increasing mushroom-like buildings, pollution and selfish technology. His new enamel paint treatment can give you a rusted fragile looks of so-called advance technology. Around the wall in the gallery you can feel about a jest of life, a war of existence, where something is going wrong silently and a steady look of a rickety pillar. A tottering state of life reflected on a wounded robot could put you in a true state of life. You could be a witness of a protest where option, digital piracy, digital understanding etc. Rajib Kaher: Born - 1971 West Bengal: Education Five years Diploma in Fine Arts from Indian College of Arts and Draftsmanship, Kolkata,1995.
