The Harriman Institute, in cooperation with the Likhachev Foundation, the Brodsky Museum Foundation, and New York Plus Plus, will present an exhibit of photographs, curated by Natalia Sharymova, from the life of Nobel laureate Joseph Brodsky, from his days of childhood to emigration in New York City.

The exhibit is comprised of photos collected by Mikhail Miltchik, chairman of the Brodsky Museum Foundation. Many of the photographs were taken by the poet’s father, Alexander Brodsky, a professional photographer, as well as by friends of the poet, including Yakov Gordin, Mikhail Miltchik, Natalia Sharymova, Marianna Volkova, Nina Alovert, Leonid Lubianitsky, Lev Poliakov and Mikhail Baryshnikov.
