'Execution' explores the visual thinking of 41 FIT faculty artists and the rigorous, often mysterious, process that leads to a work of art. The more than 60 images on display convey the private thoughts of artists as they work. In some cases, a finished piece is alongside the preliminary work - in others, not. Whether a sketch, print, model, or prototype, these pieces in a wide variety of media demonstrate the way in which artists conceptualize and create.
