Exciting new events at Habitot Children's Museum! September 8, 2007

“Kites in the Air!” at Habitot Children’s Museum!
On September 7, 8, from 10:30am-11:00am, children learn that kites and windsocks move through the sky because of the wind that pushes it. Create your own kite to take home using a variety of materials and colorful paper bags to fly in the Wind Tunnel exhibit. This is a FREE-with-admission event!

“Float or Sink?” at Habitot Children’s Museum!
On September 12, 14, 15, from 10:30am-11:00am, stop by the Waterworks exhibit and guess what objects will sink and which will float. This week Habitot staff will bring out the Habitot Mystery Box full of fun "floatable" and "sinkable" items including magnets, rubber duckies, and more! This is a FREE-with-admission event!

“Become A Storybook Character” at Habitot Children’s Museum!
On September 19, 21, 22, from 10:30am-11:00am, help tell the story and participate in interactive storytelling in our Multicultural Reading Tent. Put on silly hats, wear funny glasses and act like a character in our featured story. This is a FREE-with-admission event!

“Baby Fun with Scarves and Fabrics” at Habitot Children’s Museum!
On September 26, 28, 29, from 10:30am-11:00am, parents, caregivers and babies will have fun looking through different sheer scarves, prisms and colored cellophane in the Infant-Toddler Garden. Explore textured blocks and fabrics, just for our youngest at Habitot. This is a FREE-with-admission event!
