Joie Sheldon, M.A., is an innovator in the field of emotional intelligence, bringing a unique background to her company, Emotion Education(TM). She holds a Master's Degree in Somatic Counseling Psychology, and a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Joie was an actor and acting teacher in Los Angeles and the Bay Area for over thirty years, and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and A.F.T.R.A. She has a private counseling practice in Oakland, and teaches workshops in emotional fluidity. Joie teaches presentation skills in her Empowering Women's Voices class.
