Evolving Artists Art Competition & Exhibition December 29, 2008

Exhibit: December 30, 2008-January 30, 2009
Opening Reception: Friday, January 9, 7-9pm (Cash bar, complimentary refreshments & live music by the Sam Sinlair Trio). Winners announced at 8pm.

Competition for artists age 21-35 who are new to or have recently entered the art field. Artists may submit digital jpegs of their artwork on a CD of up to 5 separate original photos. The competition is open to any subject matter; please note that due to location of exhibit, work that contain vulgar imagery, violence and nudity are prohibited.Cash and/or other prizes awarded to 4 finalists.

The competition is open to artists age 21-35. (Including BAC staff, faculty and Young Adult Board members). All works must have been completed in the last 3 years.

Hosted by the BAC Young Adult Board.
Judges: Gabriel Akagawa, Faculty, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and Cathie Ruggie Saunders, Chair, Art & Design Department, Saint Xavier University/ Faculty, Art Institute of Chicago.
