They came together with the goal of bringing all of Journey’s music to the many Journey fans throughout California & Nevada. Evolution emphasizes the music, energy, and professionalism of Journey. Northern California Bay-Area based Latin music band La Ventana performs a unique bilingual show of originals, hot covers and classics. La Ventana features vocalists Ashley Mendez - a semi-finalist on American Idol, qualifying for the final 70 candidates out of 100,000 - and Jimmy Flores, whose charismatic stage presence has graced many salsa stages. Originating from the arts waterfall and cultural explosion of San Francisco's Latin rock scene, the group's crossover appeal is highly regarded by acclimated Latinos and dance purists alike.
