EVO 2007 Championship Series - North June 21, 2007

The EVO Championship Series: Powered by Yaris is here! You asked for it, you got it: EVO is coming to the midwest! Get off the couch and get in on the action at this official qualifier for the world's most exciting videogame championships. You can complete your registration at the event, but you can save some dough by registering in advance.
Events

EVO 2007 features the biggest prizes, the best players, and the most freeplay ever! Bring the crew, rep your stuff, and support the scene. We'll have lots of machines available in the Bring-Your-Own-Console lounge, and they're all open to anyone that turns out. Think you've got the skills to score a hole-in-one in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour? Then step up to the tricked-out Toyota Yaris on-site to try your luck at the "Yaris 10K+ Powershot" and prove it - you could walk away with $10,800 bucks without even breaking a sweat. You either heard about the competition mayhem in Austin or saw it first- hand, and you can bet the east coast is gonna even more insane. So get over to Northbrook and compete for your chance to qualify straight into the semi-final bracket at the EVO's Las Vegas World Finals.

Game Tournaments
Of course, the main attraction at Evo are the eight game tournaments that run throughout the weekend. This is your shot to compete against the best in the east for prizes and a free ride into the semi-final round at the Evo World Finals.

World Finals Qualifying
The top 8 finishers in each tournament at Evo North win automatic placement into the semi-final bracket at the world finals, completely bypassing pool play.

Gaming Lounge
If tournaments aren't your thing, there's also our BYOC (bring your own console) lounge, where you can socialize with other gaming fanatics and play any game you like. It's just like your couch at home, multiplied by a few hundred.
Attending Evo North

Step 1: Register
This year online registration is required. If you want to compete in the tournaments you must register online! When you register you can choose to pay right away online, or can pay at Evo North.
We highly recommend you register early to save on your registration costs:

Early Bird Registration!
June 1st - June 17th, 11:59 PM PST

Register Online and get a $10 discount on your registration cost!! Only $20 to register, plus $10 for each tournament.

Emergency Registration
June 23rd 10-11AM, June 24th 10-11AM

We will be accepting a small number of registrations at the door. However, the event fee for late registrants will be increased to $45 for event registration, plus $10 for each tournament you choose to enter. Register now and save $25!

Step 2: Book a Room at The Red Roof Inn
We have reserved a discounted room block at The Red Roof Inn at a discounted rate of $71.99 for a single or double room. Staying in the same hotel as the tournament is the best way to enjoy Evo. Evo is an all day, all weekend event, so we strongly recommend booking a room.

To reserve your room, call The Red Roof Inn reservations at 1-800-733-7663 and ask for the special rate "B188000685." To get the special rate, you must make your reservation before May 21st.
