Everybody Wants to Be a Rock Star

DENVER, October 27, 2009 – Stories on Stage in collaboration with Buntport Theater Company presents Everybody Wants to Be a Rock Star on Saturday, November 14 at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 15 at 1:30 p.m. at Buntport Theatre, 717 Lipan Street, Denver. Single tickets are $25; tickets for groups of 10 or more are $20 per person and LoDough (scholarship) tickets are also available. Everybody Wants to Be a Rock Star features Buntport Theater actors Brian Colonna, Hannah Duggan, Erik Edborg, Erin Rollman, Evan Weissman plus Samantha Schmitz performing Little Stones, Little Pistols, Little Clash by Jacob Rubin, which follows a garage band through their quirky and unexpected fifteen minutes of fame.

Little Stones, Little Pistols, Little Clash by Jacob Rubin was published in Best New American Voices 2009, an annual showcase of stories culled from the nation's best workshops, conferences, and writing programs.

Stories On Stage, an award winning performing arts organization features some of America's best actors from stage and screen today performing the words of many of the finest contemporary writers.

Known for unusual adaptations and quirky original comedies, Buntport Theater Company, is a vibrant ensemble of six people located in Denver, Colorado intent on creating innovative and affordable entertainment.
