Presenting the latest WVSA ARTiculate Gallery show, Every Dog Has Its Day: Celebrating Our Canine Companions! The show is comprised of one-of-a-kind portraits of our furry four-legged friends created by WVSA ARTiculate artist apprentices.

The gallery is located at 1100 16th Street N.W., and will be open Mon – Fri, 10 am – 6 pm. Opening Night Reception will be February 8th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. At the opening reception, commissioners will have the chance to view their commissioned pet portraits, as well as enjoy refreshments and meet the artists.

WVSA ARTs connection is a 501(c)(3) community-based arts and education nonprofit located in Washington, D.C. that serves youth and families from backgrounds as diverse as the city itself. Our mission is to develop, implement, and support arts-integrated education and employment programs for children and youth with special skills, special talents and special needs.

WVSA ARTiculate gallery is a youth-run art gallery, opens eight original shows each year. Shows highlight the work of the artist apprentices in the ARTiculate Employment Training Program. Artist apprentices receive a commission on all artwork sold.
