Heart and Soul has some special Summer events planned. Here are just some of them.

Our Summer Sunday barbecues are back, at last .

Don't worry if the weather turns nasty, we carry on barbecuing indoors or you can snuggle up with a comforting home made roast, while enjoying one of our music events.

Remember also, that our sunny ,secluded rear courtyard is open all day and night for food and drink, with special lunch time offers every day and cheap deals on Monday and Tuesday nights and Sunday.

Fancy a Summer party? We have three rooms , the bar and courtyard available for that special occasion or event in an unique setting.We can provide bespoke menus and cater for all musical tastes.

Look forward to seeing you for the first barbecue of the year.

Sunday 11th June 2006 BBQ (Down Town event)
Tim Harvey and his band present a jazz BBQ in the courtyard to launch Heart and Soul's Thursday night jazz club, Blue Note and to christen our new arrival, a REAL piano

Saturday 17th June 2006, Farmers Market (Down Town event)
Sample some local produce as Andy from Claremont farm , displays his wares in the courtyard. Welcome summer with his asparagus, strawberries and other delights

Sunday 18th June 2006 BBQ (Down Town event)
DJ 'Muvelo' Perez and All Things Latin present a Noche Latina BBQ and Latin music event, in the courtyard

Friday 14th July 2006
Noche Latina throws a party to celebrate its 1st birthday, with Latin music, food and of course, lots of love

Sunday 16th July 2006
Super Fly present Four Blondes and a Blackhead, an improvisational comedy event as part of Liverpool Comedy week

Thursday 20th July 2006
Super Fly and Mello Tone hold an additional comedy and music night, as part of Liverpool Comedy week

Blue Note jazz club with the Tim Harvey quartet and real acoustic piano

The only live jazz quartet gig in Town with an acoustic piano. From Blues to Swing,Standards to original compositions Be-Bop to free style, the band sets the mood in our candlelit, fully seated, jazz club set in a historic Georgian building.

Coincidently, in the 50s, before renovation the basement of the same building housed the original underground Jazz club. So. things have come full circle except, this time alcohol is available.
