We?ll cover the advantages (and a few disadvantages) of allying with big companies for funding and references. Co-presenter Dr. Dan Benson of Siemens Technology to Business has helped young businesses explore alliances with Siemens, and also worked with Angel investors. He can tell you how to get noticed, and how to negotiate a fair arrangement leveraging your idea and creativity with the resources of a Fortune 500 company.
Our co-presenter Sven Weber has his own venture capital firm Innovature Capital Partners. He also worked for Siemens in corporate venture finance (Siemens Mobile Accelerator), and as a Vice President at their telecom unit. Sven will discuss the advantages and challenges of working with big organizations, and contrast them to Angel or VC funding.
