So Rich, So Poor: Why It's So Had to End Poverty by Peter Edelman

Income disparities in the U.S. are now wider than at any time since the Great Depression.

In 2010, the average compensation for CEOs on the S&P 500 was over $11 million, while a

quarter of all jobs in the nation paid less than the poverty line of $22,000 for a family

of four. Author Peter Edelman, a professor at Georgetown University Law Center, explains

what is happening is happening to the people behind the statistics.
