ETHEL's 2nd Annual Winter Solstice Concert December 21, 2007

ETHEL, the nation's premier rock-infused, postclassical string band, recognizes the rebirth of the winter season with its second annual IN THE HOUSE OF ETHEL: SOLSTICE concert. Presented by arts>World Financial Center, the program is part-musical installation, part-theatrical event designed specifically for the open public space at the Winter Garden. ETHEL, along with four guest pianists, will showcase four new self-composed works for piano and strings, along with improvised music and works by notable contemporary composers.
