Celebrate the winter solstice with ETHEL and a very special evening of their site-specific concert piece "In the House of ETHEL". Designed for non-traditional, open spaces, the work is part musical installation, part theatrical event where members of the quartet move throughout the space encouraging the audience to do the same, allowing for myriad interpretations and sonic experiences. Incorporating original and improvised music the evening will feature the premiere of a new work by Marcelo Zarvos, a commission funded by the NEA. Support provided by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
