WEST OF EDEN: Pay What You Can Night
What if Adam and Eve found out they weren’t the first man and woman? What if we found out we weren’t the #1 nation in the world? Like us, Adam and Eve would experience a big jolt to our world and worldview. We’d have to sort things out to determine how we should go forward.

In Letitia Sweitzer’s hilarious new play West of Eden, which has just won the Essential Theatre Playwriting Award 2008, Adam and Eve make just such a shift. If this sounds heavy it’s not. It’s a laugh-all-the-way-through comedy, which raises serious questions that theatregoers will talk about long after the play.
