Esperanza Spalding has forged an impressive and varied career as a bassist, singer and composer. Since relocating to the East Coast from Portland, Oregon, the Berklee graduate has worked with Michel Camilo, Dave Samuels, Regina Carter, Joe Lovano and Patti Austin.
