Explore the Miller Esker on an outing with the Jennings staff. One of the most unusual glacial formations in the area, this serpentine mound of sand and gravel is believed to have formed during the last ice age 20,000 years ago. We will meet at the Center to establish a car pool and leave for the esker at 1:00 p.m. Some areas of the esker are fairly steep and have little shade, please dress appropriately.
