Behind the Book is hosting an after-work networking event on Monday, June 15th at Mad 46, a rooftop lounge on top of the ultra-sleek Roosevelt Hotel. The event will feature a live DJ spinning top 40 hits and other party favorites, amazing raffle prizes, and drink specials offered exclusively to Behind the Book guests.

Escape to the Islands is the perfect cure for the Monday Blues. It will be a great opportunity to meet other young professionals and enjoy an incredible view of Midtown.

All guests who arrive between 6pm-7pm will be able to sample specialty mojitos and will receive a complimentary Miller Lite. Guests will also be able to purchase drinks at a special discounted price: Van Gogh Vodka Cocktails - $5.00, Hpnotiq Cocktails - $5.00, Cazadorez Blanco Margaritas/Tequila- $10.00. (Usually, all of these drinks range from $14-20 at Mad46.)

All proceeds will go towards Behind the Book’s programs, providing curriculum integrated literacy programs to students in NYC public schools.
