A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Esau McGraw has been engaging and energizing audiences for 8 years. With his recent relocation to Southern California, he has been leaving Los Angeles audiences in tears. Esau has developed a unique style and a very loyal following. Esau is one of the original members of the improve group PCP, “The Phat Comedy Players” where he often played up to eight characters in one night. This experience raised his comedic abilities to a higher level. Audiences adore his quirky down to earth characters, making him one of the most sought after comics in the country. Esau is also the host of Chocolate Sundaes, one of the most popular shows in Los Angeles, located at The world famous Laugh Factory.

Esau can be found captivating audiences on the comedy specials “The Big Black Comedy Show” on Show time, BET’s “Comic View & One Mic Stand"”, “Guy Torry’s Phat Tuesdays DVD Vol. 3”, "Jamie Foxx Presents" and “Jest Comedy DVD Vol. 2” where he is a crowd favorite. Esau is featured on the 2007 season of Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam & 2009 season of Martin Lawrence's 1st Amendment, where his inventive style of comedy separated him from the rest and anchored him as one of the new stars of Stand Up.

Esau’s acting ability has opened eyes with his debut in the feature film Idlewild. His portrayal of the character Stuttering Sonny has earned him praise and recognition as a versatile artist. Esau is also featured in the feature film Dance Fu directed by Cedric the Entertainer. Esau’s opening act credits include performances with musical artists such as Grover Washington, Norman Brown, The Gap Band, The Whispers, Frankie Beverly featuring Maze, and many more. He has also worked with many well known comedians including George Lopez, D.L. Hughley, Ablo Francisco, A.J. Jamal, Bill Bellamy, and Damon Wayans, among others.
