The 41st Erie Summer Festival of the arts is about strolling through a family friendly Liberty Park and sampling the works of dozens of artists and crafters who create their works just for you. The Festival includes a chldren's area, sculpture garden, and juried art show. Musical performers include the Ides of March and Donnie Iris as well as a variety of local and regional musicians. There will be a fiddle contest and a guitar contest on Saturday. The theme of this year's festival is Art Colors the World: Going Green.

This festival is a lot of fun. I took my kids a couple of years ago and they had a good time. There are tons of crafts for them to do and some cute shows. We will try to make it this year as well.
