ERIE & NORTHWESTERN PA TRAINING TO WALK THE WALK FOR BARACK January 22, 2008

This Event will educate you on the rules and regulations on obtaining signatures for the petition to place Senator Barack Obama & OUR local delegate candidates on the spring Primary ballot.

We will also have a planning session on distribution & collection of the petitions.

***IMPORTANT NOTICE*** ONLY REGISTERED DEMOCRATS ARE ALLOWED TO SIGN THE PETITION. ENCOURAGE THOSE WHO ARE NOT REGISTERED - TO DO SO NOW. IF YOU WISH TO SWITCH PARTIES YOU MUST DO SO NOW. YOU CAN ONLY SIGN IF YOU HAVE A CARD ISSUED FROM THE COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS. IT TAKES APPORXIMATELY 10 DAYS (OR LESS) TO BECOME REGISTERED. GO TO THE COURTHOUSE TO REGISTER IN PERSON, ALTHOUGH MAIL IN FORMS ARE AVAILABLE AT EVERY LOCAL EVENT. THE PETITION CAN ONLY BE SIGNED BETWEEN JAN 24 AND FEB 12TH. POTENTIAL LAST DAY TO REGISTER OR SWITCH IS JAN 30.
