Erich Preis's Solo Art Exhibition Tribute For Veteran's Purple Heart on Recognition Day August 7, 2009

Renowned Long Island artist Erich J. Preis will have his artwork displayed in a tribute to our veterans on Friday Aug 7, Purple Heart Recognition Day, with singer Frank Rendo & violinist Captain Mamdough providing music. On this monumental day, the CPI, Christopher G. Scherer, U.S. Marines Memorial Statue will be unveiled at 7pm in the library auditorium.
Refreshments will be served, thanks to the generosity of the Thatched Cottage of Centerport.
Dedicated to Michael A Noeth USN DMZ, recipient of the Purple Heart, who perished in the Pentagon on 9/11 and all men & women who gave their lives for our freedom.
