Back from the successful Los Angeles debut of her one woman show, "The Power of Magic," Erica Sodos returns to the Denver stage at the Mercury Café and presents a sophisticated and theatrical magic performance reclaiming the history of women in the conjuring arts. Actress, writer and magician Erica Sodos presents her personal blend of theater, weaving together astonishing costume changes, feminine feats of conjuring and the magic and messages of garbage man, a goddess, and a crone.

"The Power of Magic" focuses on the return of real magic and using that magic to increase one's personal power. There is even a routine where Erica Sodos makes some of the audience's dreams come true. For over 15 years Erica has been performing her own character creations including Rosy Rosebud the clown, Cerridwen the witch, Mari the mime, and a whole plethora of magical faeries and elves.
