Based in Toronto, Thoughtless Music has etched a clear vision of forward-thinking production underscored by persuasive grooves through a steady stream of diverse releases. Garnering critical praise with the release of Limaçon's debut full-length last winter, the label has continued to gather steam with support coming in from the likes of taste-makers such as Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Claude Von Stroke, Slam, Danny Tenaglia, Dubfire, Gregor Tresher, Luciano and many others.

ERA ONE is the 50th release on the label and the first of our Thoughtless Era mix series, with a new edition of selected label works due out every fifty releases. This inaugural instalment is the culmination of more than three years of Thoughtlessness spanning 293 tracks and remixes, featuring contributions from over 100 artists - including some of the most respected underground producers working today. Highlighting gems from the likes of Alland Byallo, Jay Tripwire, Billy Dalessandro, Kate Simko, Falko Brocksieper, Rennie Foster, Jeff Bennett and many more, it's also the first-ever CD due out on Thoughtless.

The force behind it all is label manager Noah Pred, who took it upon himself to mix the compilation of Thoughtless catalog favourites. Clocking in at 73 minutes and 40 seconds, the fluid blend of 50 tracks also includes a brand new exclusive track from Pred himself: 'Unsung'. To celebrate the release of ERA ONE, Pred will be performing a rare extended DJ set on Li'ly's recently revamped sound system. Following releases on Dirtybird and Rawthentic, Thoughtless artists Talal & Zoi will be warming up the decks, with Sound Saturday residents Matthew & Marcos opening and closing this late-night event.

A culmination of over three years of Thoughtlessness, ERA ONE is a vital statement of the Thoughtless sound - and a sign of things to come. Celebrate with us!
