Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
Can you tell me more information about Equipping the Saints?
The conference starts on a Thursday night with our opening praise & worship service celebration.  All movement ministers wear their garments and are encouraged to bring flags, streamers, billows and banners to use as we corporately praise & worship together.  Come and freely dance before the Lord!  Invited guests will minister a selection followed by the keynote speaker.  We've been blessed with speakers that have come ready to deliver a powerful Word!
During the day on Friday & Saturday are the breakout sessions.  Typically, there are 4 sessions running simultaneously, so you'll have to choose which class you'll want to attend.
There are also marketplace ministers on location with a variety of products available for purchase including but not limited to: garments, books, flags, bags and more
We end Friday & Saturday by coming together for the evening worship service.  Then on Sunday morning, we'll transport to Sunday morning worship service at a local church.
Continue to check the website, as speakers confirm and the schedule becomes solidified, more information will be posted.
Can I (my group) minister at the evening service?
When you register, there will be a spot to indicate you / your group is interested in being considered to ministering at the evening service.  Those that indicate interest will be sent an additional ministry information form.  Once these are collected and reviewed by the staff a decision will be made.  Note: Usually there are more requests than there are spaces available so please remember that will we not be able to accommodate everyone.
To be considered, your registration must be received by June 15, 2010.

Do you need speakers / teachers / facilitators?
Probably not.  By the time the event is published, the majority (if not all) our speakers / facilitators have received initial contact.  Invitations to teach / speak are based on relationship.  In other words, someone from the EQS staff (typically the conference host) has experienced the ministry of the invitee or has had an opportunity to get to know them.  We are not in the practice of accepting solicitations for speakers / teachers.
And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you...1 Thess 5:12
We are always excited to connect with other Kingdom-minded ministers.  If you find yourself at Equipping the Saints, don't hesitate to introduce yourself!

Is it OK to miss school to attend the conference?
It is important that our youth are developed academically as well as spiritually.  The decision to miss school is one that should be determined on a case-by-case basis and should only be considered if missing a couple days will not cause the child(ren) to fall behind.
Here are some best practices I've observed from youth groups that have attended over the years:- A ministry letter (usually from Pastor) endorsed by parent or guardian asking the student to be excused and homework given in advance.  Traveling youth would do their homework in groups during the lunch & dinner hours.
- Ask your teachers if you can write a report on the trip for school credit.  EQS is a cultural experience highlighting a variety of art forms.  Also, for those traveling to St. Louis you can make time to report on the historically rich Gateway City.
Ultimately if you decide that missing school is not an option.  You can always elect to attend Friday evening and all day Saturday & Sunday.  When attending the entire conference is not possible, attending in part is the next best thing.
Is there a fee for the evening services?
Nope!  The evening service is free & open to the public.  A love offering will be received.
What should I wear / bring?
During the day:Dress comfortably during the day.  If you are attending any of the movement classes, be sure to wear something you can move in.  Modesty is key!  Many of our classes are mix gendered and we want to do everything to the glory of our Lord.  Acceptable attire would be: palazzos / T-shirt, prep garments (such as ephods & overlays), jogging suits etc.
During the evening:Dance ministers are encouraged to wear their praise garments as we will ALL dance before the Lord.  If you are not a praise dancer, comfortable church attire is appropriate.
You'll want to bring your bible, notebook, pen/pencil and dancing shoes.
Can I split my registration?
No, registrations are assigned to an individual and may not be split.

What is your refund / exchange policy?
There are no refunds.  However registrations may be exchanged up to September 5th, 2010.
My question was not answered here...now what?
Use the Contact the Host link from the menu on the right to send your question.

Organized by Paneh
Paneh is the Hebrew word for "face" or "in His Presence". Exodus 33:11a says And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend...That is the type of relationship we seek after! We are dance & mime ministry that serves God's people through ministry in dance at church services, conferences, weddings, and other special events.
