The Silicon Valley is the center of the world when it comes to entrepreneurship, venture capital, and brands that have started in basements and reached the stratosphere. But still, with such a hotbed of activity, experience, and knowledge some brands never see the light of day. With many people finding themselves "between jobs", and an economic recession, now is the time to reposition or start a new business and SVAMA is here to help with our "Entrepreneurial Marketing" panel:

Networking, Food, and Cocktails - 5:30 to 7pm: Rub elbows and wet your whistle with fellow Silicon Valley marketers and entrepreneurs.

Keynote Speaker: Donna Wells, CMO, Mint.com - 7 to 7:30pm: Donna Wells is the CMO of Mint.com, a highly successful startup launched in late 2007 that provides a free web-based personal financial management software. Donna will share her experiences with Mint.com, and some of the strategies and tactics that Mint.com has employed to go from Beta to over half a million users in less than 18 months. Donna attended Wharton for undergrad, and holds a Stanford MBA.

Entrepreneurial Marketing Panel Discussion - 7:30 to 9pm: In this exciting 1.5 hour panel discussion we'll hear from experts in different industries and stages of their start-up ventures to learn what marketing tactics have worked (and not worked), and identify some key takeaways that you can put to use immediately in your business! Panelists include TJ Scimone (Serial Entrepreneur - Slice by Karim, partybeans.com), Kimber Lockhart (CEO, Increo Solutions - getbackboard.com) and others.

Please join us as we explore case studies and discuss best marketing practices on some of the most exciting startups in history, as well as hear from panel experts that are walking the talk on a daily basis.
