Enterprising Women - Call for Mentors May 16, 2012

As a successful woman entrepreneur, you are aware women approach business differently from men - from building networks to financial management to selling. You also realize operating a business offers women the opportunity to support themselves and their children, and to create a legacy of economic independence. The challenges you have faced as a woman of color business owner are unique and now you have the opportunity to help others as a mentor for Urban Solutions Enterprising Women!

This exclusive program will meet once per month for two hours every third Wednesday for six months to strategize and help women develop goals to position their business for success! The program will consist of a core group of up to 10 women business owners who have been operating a business for a minimum of 1 year or more.

Skills and Qualifications:
* In business for 3 or more years
* Mentors will provide technical and management assistance to women in the program
* Experienced entrepreneur or business professional with strong business acumen
* Effective Communicator and advisor
* Available to meet with Protege at least 4 hours a month (one-one or phone)for 6 months
* Assist Protege to enhance business capabilities and improve their ability to successfully operate a business
* Willing to commit to program for a time period of 6 months
