Enjoy “End-of-Summer Fun” At Westfield Parkway With Free Westfield Family Fun Days For Toddlers August 15, 2012

Join us on August 3 as kids read about riding on a traditional freight train pulled by a steam engine in Freight Train by Donald Crews, and explore everything that happens at the airport in Airport by Byron Barton. Kids will then color their very own wooden airplanes, and enjoy a snack.

On August 15 kids will ease back into school with two books by Kevin Henkes, the lighthearted Chrysanthemum, and Jessica, a story about an imaginary friend. Afterwards, kids will personalize their very own pencil case and receive a Westfield #2 pencil, and enjoy a snack. There is nothing better than going back to school with stylish school supplies!

Storytime at all “Little Kids” events provided by the El Cajon Public Library and the make-and-take craft assistance at all events is provided by the City of El Cajon Recreation Department.
