Enhancing Your English Course: Steps Toward Better Writing - Advanced July 24, 2013

Designed for people in the work place and tertiary level students who want to increase their communication skills in English at an advanced level, this English course provides advanced understanding of English grammar, sentence structure and written and spoken communication for professional and academic purposes. Each week the course functions in part as an advanced reading and discussion group about a set text, from a combination of film and print texts chosen from current affairs, fiction, history or general culture. Weekly written exercises will relate to these texts and discussions as well as to your own work and study. A major focus is that English skills gain from reading and conversation and reading and conversation are too often not possible in a busy working life. Details of this event may be subject to change.
