Engineer Your Life December 9, 2012

This course includes some general engineering concepts of design, construction and problem-solving, while providing you with some fun and engaging activities. There are basic challenges with a variety of interactive activities based on engineering principles and a whole lot of creativity. That's right, engineering is creative! You'll be guided through the activities by engineering students from The University of Sydney, have some friendly competition with your fellow class mates, and design and make prosthetic legs, floating houses, toilets for developing countries and a whole lot more! While the course is designed for Year 10 & 11 students, some Year 9 students may also find the rigour of the course challenging and rewarding. This course is suitable for students in Years 10 and 11, and Year 9 students looking for a challenge. Details of this event may be subject to change.
