Energy Management and Auditing helps residential, commercial, and industrial facilities to identify ways to conserve energy and reduce energy costs. Learn to identify cost effective energy projects that will reduce energy use and operating costs in large and small facilities. Training will include the in-depth study of identifying the energy usage mechanism and the projected savings.

Learn to identify energy efficiency projects, their estimated cost, estimated energy savings, and estimated payback periods. Provide a summary of the facility's operations and systems with recommendations on how to achieve energy efficiency goals. Learn technical information about the newest and most energy-efficient technologies. Understand energy benchmarking, identifying and estimating potential incentives from energy efficiency programs.

This course provides a comprehensive, whole-house approach to evaluating the home's systems and equipment. A whole house audit finds an average energy savings of 30%. The training will include in-depth study of lighting, appliances, electronics, HVAC, water conservation, and more. Procedures include an initial interview, visual inspection, diagnostic performance testing, energy simulation and analysis, and a clear scope of proposed improvements.
