eNerGy Festival Overview

New York-Tokyo and FCI are proud to present the culmination of a year of successful events, bridging the cultural gap between two cosmopolitan cities in fine style in our weekend-long eNerGy Festival. NYT's monthly events, Gamer's Night Groove (GNG) and Monthly Director's Series (MDS), bring to New York the best in cutting edge games & music, and film/anime respectively. eNerGy brings all of these ingredients together into a multi-platform, multi-media blend for three special days in November.

FRI, NOV. 19 - eNerGy Festival begins with NYT?s Advanced Interactive Nightlife. On Friday night, enjoy console gaming at it's best on our flat-screens. With plenty of controllers to go around you can play, compete, or just relax and spectate, all the while grooving to live chiptune music performances. This night also marks the 1 year birthday of NYT's Gamers Nite Groove so be sure to join us for the festivities!

SAT, NOV. 20 and SUN, NOV. 21 - Starting Saturday morning eNerGy will launch into two full days of the best Japanese Anime from 2004. All of the films being screened at eNerGy are Premiere screenings so you can be the among the first to experience some of this year's freshest and most highly acclaimed work, straight from Japan. All of our screenings will be shown on the big screen in their full spendor in Tribeca PAC's massive, 913 seat theater. eNerGy screenings also offer you the opportunity to meet the animation experts and talent behind the production in discussion panels immediately following the films.

Throughout all 3 days, in our Exhibitor's Pavillion adjoining the theater. you will have the opportunity of sampling even more fresh Anime from the best production studios, including new serial work now only available in Japan. For anyone who has ever had a glimmer of curiosity about the unstoppablartistic force coming out of modern Japanese culture, then you cannot afford to miss this weekend-long Anime event: discussion panels, tasty Japanese snacks, free gifts, and a chance to win round trip tickets to Tokyo!
