The KCAI end-of-semester exhibition and sale takes place Dec. 5-7 on the KCAI campus. The event opens at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, and concludes at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7. Work by KCAI students in the departments of animation, ceramics*, digital filmmaking, fiber, interdisciplinary arts, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture will be on display throughout the campus. Please note that not all works will be offered for sale. Work can be purchased beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, but in some cases it will not be permitted to remove the purchased work from the exhibition until Sunday. The event is free and open to the public. Hours: Friday, Dec. 5: 5-8 p.m. At 7 p.m. "Flux Fest," hosted by the photography and digital filmmaking departments, will be held in Epperson Auditorium, Vanderslice Hall. The evening will include performance art, animation, digital film, audio art, music and new media. Saturday, Dec. 6: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7: noon to 5 p.m. Visitors to the ceramics exhibition and sale can purchase works beginning at 5 p.m. Friday and can retrieve the purchased works during the 3-5 p.m. pick-up time on Sunday.
