Encuentro NYC, New York's annual Colombian music festival, presents the first of a series of concerts to kick-off the new year! Featuring New York's two powerhouse Colombian bands, both cutting edge and traditional, under the same roof. Pablo Mayor, festival founder and renowned Colombian composer/arranger/pianist, presents his own world-renowned band the Folklore Urbano Orchestra, along with Grupo Rebolú, New York's hottest new traditional Colombian band playing music from the Caribbean coast of Colombia, featured in Lincoln Center's past Heritage Sunday. Come experience the infectious roots of Colombian music and a modern take on these traditions! This is music for dancing, (***come at 7pm for a free Colombian dance class taught by Daniel Fetecua from Pajarillo Pinta'o)

This is a general admission, standing event. Happy hour from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
