A seemingly unlikely encounter, singer-songwriter and polymath Gabriel Kahane and burgeoning superstar and Caramoor favorite Alisa Weilerstein team up for an evening that ignores musical boundaries and unveils an eclectic landscape of influences. Powerful performances of Kahane’s own compositions are set into relief by unaccompanied cello works by Bach and Britten.
