Encounters fromt the Past Cemetery Tours October 17, 2009

Encounters from the Past, historic tours of the Farmers Branch Keenan cemetery, will kick off its second season of tours in October 2009. The aim of the tours is to be much more than a tour of the gravesites. Encounters from the Past will be a trip back in time in which tour guests will experience history with the help of local, costumed actors as they will bring to life some of Farmers Branch’s early citizens. Tours will begin at 6:30 PM each evening, lasting about an hour with tours visiting 6-8 characters. Tickets will go on sale on October 1, 2009 at the Historical Park office and will be available at the cemetery on tour nights.
